Chris Bornheimer

BS, Counselor Intern

Chris is passionate about helping people grow and experience greater overall well-being by focusing on the connection between emotional, physical, and spiritual health. He believes that each of these areas influences the other, and when cared for together, individuals are better equipped to experience lasting growth. Chris strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment, not simply just giving advice, but to walk alongside clients as they navigate challenges, discover their strengths, and build tools to help them move forward with confidence.

Growing up in Raleigh, Chris developed a strong love for his community and desire to support those around him. He enjoys staying active both physically and socially, through running and his time spent with his church community. These experiences have shaped his perspective on the importance of caring for the whole person rather than focusing on just one aspect of well-being.

Chris is currently in the process of completing his graduate degree at Liberty University with the goal of becoming a full-time counselor. His preferred counseling approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, helping individuals identify and replace deep rooted negative thought patterns leading to positive behavior change.

At the heart of Chris’s approach is a genuine desire to help people find their true identity and grow into a better version of themselves. He is passionate about seeing people grow, overcome challenges, and move toward a healthier and more fulfilling life. Chris hopes to support and encourage each person he works with as they take steps toward healing, resilience, and personal improvement.
