We are here for you!

Deciding to go to counseling can feel like a big step. When the indicators begin to surface, it is important to lean into the “why” and get to the root of the problem(s). These symptoms are your body and mind’s way of prompting you to get the help you need and it’s important to take care of yourself. Identifying emotions, sharing your story, and learning how to process and cope are all healthy next steps. Talking about how you feel does not make you weak! It is actually quite the opposite. It shows vulnerability and vulnerability overpowers shame which actually increases resiliency. Therapy also helps to bring awareness and like any other training you may do like going to the gym, counseling can help you live your best life personally and professionally.

Counseling does not guarantee the pain will go away completely, but the struggle can lessen dramatically when we begin to open up and talk. We were never meant to carry the weight of our hardships alone. Whether it is anxiety, depression, anger, career struggles, betrayal personally or professionally there is hope and we want to walk alongside you on that journey. We also care about your circle of relationships and want to encourage you in these important connections with others. At Valor, we understand the importance of healthy community.

Our counselors we aim to give each client the best treatment and care because we love what we do and we see the bigger picture in each person’s life not matter their circumstances. We are a trusted circle of culturally-competent therapists, striving to connect with relevant, effective mental health practices and if desired, Biblical principals. In order to do this, we seek to look at the whole person from holistic, wellness perspective.
