  • Ashley Wright

    Practice Owner

    M.A., LCMHC, EMDR-Certified

    Ashley grew up in Apex, North Carolina. She and her husband have three children and two goldendoodles. As a law enforcement family of 14+ years, they have committed themselves to serving others and partnering with the community in many ways. Ashley has a passion for mental health and wellness care.

    Ashley received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Religion from Liberty University in 2008. In 2014, she completed a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Liberty as she felt called to work more intentionally in the mental health field.

    Ashley specializes in trauma therapy and utilizes a SAFE attachment approach in counseling. She is a Certified EMDR therapist and is currently finishing her NERPSC Certification. She has also completed the CPTT (Certified Partner Trauma Therapy) course for partners in a relationship with someone who struggles with sexual impulsivity/addiction. Ashley utilizes CBT, TF-CBT, mindfulness, and IFS approaches in working with individuals as she believes every story carries different parts needing intentional care. She often works with individuals who have experienced PTSD as well as various types of betrayal such as sexual, emotional, financial, institutional and more. Also, anxiety, depression, career/school changes, balancing work/family and parenting.

    Ashley accepts BCBS (except Blue Home) and Cigna insurance currently. Ashley is also contracted with many EAP groups.

  • Ben Higgins

    B.S., LMFT Intern

    Ben is originally from Alaska and grew up enjoying the beautiful outdoors with his family. After finishing his Bachelor’s Degree in in Criminal Justice, Ben decided to pursue a degree in Licensed Marriage Family and Individual Therapy at Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.

    In general, Ben enjoys working with males ages 11 years and older in therapy. Alongside counseling, he has served as a ministry leader intern at his church giving him years of mentoring and discipleship experience. Ben’s specialty is working with first responders and veterans work through PTSD, trauma, and addictions as well as to overcome relational and emotional challenges from traumatic events. He understands personally the impact of traumatic experiences and navigating major and minor life changes.

    Ben offers a blend of clinical counseling and theological perspective by utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. He also offers a solely clinical perspective if desired by the client as well.

  • Emery Pulido

    Emery is an advocate for holistic wellness and positive transformation. Growing-up in Hillsborough, North Carolina, Emery has always cherished the company of community, friends, and family. Emery's journey towards counseling began with securing a bachelor's degree from North Carolina State University. She embarked on a promising career in the business sector; however, she felt called to pursuing a Master’s in Clinical Counseling through Liberty University in order to have a meaningful impact in the lives of others.

    Emery's educational path reflects her unwavering commitment to guiding individuals toward their most authentic selves. This journey to become a licensed counselor counselor combines her passion for helping others using a holistic wellness approach.

    Emery has a particular affinity for working with females individually, starting from the age of 12 and upward. Her desire to empower other women aligns with her commitment to fostering growth, self-discovery, and overall well-being.

    Emery is a SYMBIS Facilitator as she has a passion for working with couples. She utilizes a unique blend of academic knowledge, career experience and a heartfelt dedication to help partners move towards healing both individually and together.

    Emery's testament to the pursuit of supporting others carries her belief that personal development can be accessible to all. In counseling, her hope is to guide other’s to a more authentic and fulfilled journey.

  • Megan Page

    B.S., LMFT Intern

    Megan was raised in Marietta, Georgia. She and her husband have a sweet baby girl and an old dog named Molly. Megan completed her Bachelor of Science in Communication at Kennesaw State University.

    After spending time in Asia and North Africa for a few years, she returned to her Alma Mater to serve as a campus minister. During this time, she helped college students navigate difficult challenges including anxiety, depression, self-harm, and sexual abuse. Later, she decided to pursue counseling at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary to become a resource to those who have experienced trauma. She is working towards serving military families with her husband. Megan also enjoys postpartum and other women’s issues.

    Megan has experience working with both students, adults and couples. She believes each individual holds incredible worth and a unique story that deserves to be heard and understood. Megan incorporates a theological perspective into her clinical counseling approach.
