RATES AND POLICIES:

Counseling sessions range from 50-90 minutes. Insurance will only allow for an hour of therapy per day per person. Any minutes after the hour will be considered an out-of-pocket fee. Similarly, a clinician may offer 30 minute sessions which sometimes may be covered by insurance.

At Valor Counseling Center, we offer quality care and a variety of specializations in-order to give our clients the best possible experience. To do this, we regularly engage in continuing education courses, supervisions, and mental health trainings, wellness courses, conferences, and more. Each of these allow for collaboration with other licensed professionals as well as leaders from all over the world. We strive to remain informed and prepared, so that we might assist individuals, couples and families with the best psychotherapy practices. Your mental health is important and you deserve sound, effective care in a confidential and professional space.

While we do not publicly post rates and fees, we are more than happy to send you this information if requested. Contact Us

Our rates are structured to follow along with the professional counseling rates in North Carolina, given the level the experience, training and qualifications of each clinician.

If the client’s insurance changes and/or if a client gains an in-network insurance plan, it is the client’s responsibility to communicate and share this information for future appointment usage.

*Currently, Ashley is in-network with BCBS (most plans) and Cigna. Also, EAP’S and First Responder contracts.

*Interns offer a sliding scale and cannot except insurance until provisionally licensed.

SLIDING SCALE OPTION:

We understand finances can be difficult at times and the importance of counseling. At Valor Counseling Center, our hope is to continually provide an intern(s) with a sliding scale rate based-on household income. Our interns are chosen after an intentional interview process and supervised regularly. Internships are taken very seriously and we want to offer the best care for you and your loved ones. Reach-out to us if you have any questions regarding seeing an intern.
